I've started uploading a few images from a swift visit to Scotland which was unusually sunny.

I've been on here a year. How did that happen

I have a new camera. Now I have to learn how to use it

My trusty Pentax P30 film camera that I have had for over 20 years has been troubled recently. Last week the back kept popping open. I've added two elastic bands but am considering getting it fixed. Then today the 28-80 lens I got with the camera and use often no longer zooms - its stuck around 50.

I have a 70-210 lens I used today and a couple of screw fit lenses I can use with an adaptor (from a even older camera).

So, I guess I would buy a digital SLR but which one? You can see the sort of thing I like taking pictures of so what are your thoughts on which digital SLR? (probably only one lens to start with due to lack of money).
